Downtown Toronto, Ontario
In the center of it all, Downtown, visitors might think they can see anywhere in the world from the top of the city’s most famous landmark and the tallest freestanding structure in the Western Hemisphere: the CN Tower. This concrete and steel structure rises 1,815 feet into the air and looms over the skyscrapers of the nearby Financial District, home to five of the nation’s largest banks and to the Toronto Stock Exchange, the world’s seventh-largest stock exchange by market capitalization.
