Steve Brockett is grateful to have the memory of a goldfish.
With 19 years of paragliding under his belt, and too many close calls to count, Steve's collection of painting-inspired aerial photographs is owed to his ability to forget (or, at least, pretend to forget) the number of times it got just a little too dangerous. “[Piloting a powered paraglider means] having to relinquish your controls to use your camera. This is nerve wracking if the air is turbulent and you are getting thrown around.” His most vital piece of equipment in the air besides the camera? His GPS. “It's a must. I need to know wind direction and strength and which way to start walking if my engine fails.”
